Aromas of rich mocha, Bing cherries and candied plum flow onto a palate of espresso and blueberries with a full-bodied mid-palate of bittersweet cherry-chocolate and dark roast coffee nuances culminating with a noteworthy spice finish enhancing firm but silky tannins. Reach for this wine to compliment grilled steaks, seared Portobello mushrooms, game, grilled eggplant, Cajun ahi tuna as well as Abbaye de Belloc and smokey blue cheeses. Cellar worthy through 2023.
