Tasting Notes
This classic GSM presents first expressions of dark stone fruit and cranberry with the palate hinting of Montmorency cherries, plum, a whiff of pipe tobacco and leather. An impressive mid-palate with nuances of dark chocolate, cranberry, Bing cherries and anise carries through to a satisfying finish with smooth tannins, which linger with touches of cigar box and cardamom. Great with roasts, grilled vegetables, game and Brillat-Savarin and Cotswold cheeses. Will cellar through 2023.
